Day trips and activities off-site

Beach

Not from California?  Live in one of those landlocked states and can't enjoy the beauty of the ocean?  We can help out with that!  You may even be from California and know exactly what the beach is all about...FUN!  Campers take a day trip to nearby Zuma Beach and play in the waves, eat lunch, and soak up the sun in beautiful Malibu California.  Don't forget the sunscreen!  If you do, we got extra :)   

Fishing

Our program includes daily fishing trips to nearby Malibu Pier and Malibu Creek start Park. For campers who wish to test the waters off-shore we also offer special deep sea fishing excursions.

Water-skiing, Wake-boarding, Tubing, and Jet-skiing!

Campers can choose to spend a full day at Castaic Lake learning how to wake-board, water-ski, and tube! Instruction is provided by John Van Arsdale, a professor at Cal. State Northridge and a crew of licensed boat drivers, all with lifeguarding, first aid and CPR. Children from beginners to advanced riders will find something to whet their appetite and increase their knowledge of the sport. In keeping with state law and our concern for safety, jet-skis are driven only by staff and campers are passengers.
