Meet the Management Staff

Director

Our Director, Lynn Pedroza has spent most of her adult life working at Cottontail. Lynn began as a counselor in 1984 while attending UCLA. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, she continued her education as a graduate student studying Counseling Psychology at Loyola Marymount University. Over the years, she held many postions at Cottontail and in 1988 she came on full time and has been running the camp ever since. Lynn is active in the camping community and has held board positions with both the Western Association of Independent Camps (WAIC) and the Southern California section of the American Camping Association (ACA). With her many years of experience, her hands on knowledge as a parent of two children, she is committed to bringing children of the the best experiences available in camping. Lynn, who is better known to the campers as "Chuckles", lives at Cottontail Ranch with her family year round.

Assistant Directors

Assistant Director - Drew "Asper" Davis has been a part of Cottontail Ranch management since 1992, after first working as a counselor. He has his bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona in Secondary Education and a Masters degree from Arizona State University in Conselor Education. Drew is married to Renee "Nougat" Davis, who has worked at Cottontail since 1998 as the head female counselor. Their commitment to children and young adults continues in the off season. Renee is a middle school teacher and Drew is an Assistant Principal at a high school in Scottsdale, Arizona.
