About Camp Cottontail

Cottontail's long history of success is due to its amazing staff.  Many of our campers return as staff members. Most return year after year so only a few positions are usually available. Southern California is a great place to work so we have our pick of some of the world's most outstanding undergrads and graduate students. Click here to learn more about our staff.

Accreditation and Affiliation

Camp Cottontail is accredited by the American Camp Association.  The ACA inspects and reviews each member to ensure that camps meet industry-accepted and government-recognized standards. Key aspects of camp operation, program quality, health and safety are carefully scrutinited. We are proud to maintain this relationship and highly recommend that parents look for a camp that has been accredited.

Camp Cottontail is also a member of the Western Association of Independant Camps.  The Western Association of Independent Camps is a group of private children's summer camps located in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
